Crocodilians are an order of large, predatory, semiaquatic reptiles and includes the true crocodiles (family Crocodylidae), the alligators and caimans (family Alligatoridae), and the gharial and false gharial (family Gavialidae). Crocodilians do not make good pets and require proper facilities to thrive.
