Aldabra Tortoise Aldabrachelys gigantea 4 to 5 inch size
USA Captive bred & hatched $1650.00 ( Special )
$100.00 flat rate for shipping if needed.
Imperfect shells $1450.00 & up. ( double or split scutes )
Cosmetic shell issues do not affect their health, I like the little flaws because it make it easy to identify your tortoise.
Resellers ( 3 or more ) please email for quote )
We have sold 100's of baby Aldabras over the last 30 years.
We shipped one from local zoo that was over 600lbs.
USA Captive bred Aldabra Tortoise
They go up in Value as they grow if kept properly.
Can be seen by appointment in North San Diego County at office location.
Preferred shipping Delta airlines airport to airport but will also ship FedEx Priority Overnight. Local pick-ups also welcome.
Some care: Baby diet is changed up so they get used to many different items to eat
"Spring mix" from market ( 7 different type fine greens ) twice a week
Spineless Mexican Pear Cactus leaves cut very thin like French fry shape but thinner ( twice a week )
Romaine Lettuce ( just the good green parts ( twice a week )
Mexican squash "ripe soft" ( cut into 1/4" high circles ) fed couple times a week with other items
Powdered Calcium & Vitamins added at least twice a week to any of the above but works best on the spring mix or Green lettuce
All young Aldabra's are soaked at least once a week, twice is better depending on how hot you keep them
"Inside care" I keep them in rooms that are set at 80 degrees day and night and then they can also go under above heated areas in their trays to adjust their own temperatures higher at will.
Projected growth:
4 years old 18 inch
10 years old 24-26 inch
20 years old 30-33 inches
