New World Rat snakes are medium sized constrictors that can be found through a great portion of the north and central America. Most make attractive and docile pets and they are popular as first time reptile pets or breeding projects due to their small size and basic care requirements. Old world rat snakes, from europe and asia, tend to be more delicate.
